OAL(Budig) baseball used in the April 1998 game in which Bret Saberhagen won for the first time in 2 1/2 years after coming back from arm surgery from his own personal collection. He would go 15-8 with the Red Sox in 1998 and earn the Sporting News Comeback Player of the Year Award. Saberhagen has signed on the sweet spot in perfect looking 9-10/10 dark blue ink and added the following inscription to the panel below - "1st Win After 2 1/2 YR. 4-5-98". Ball exhibits good game use.
