This is a remarkable artifact touching two teammates with four Cy Young Awards between them a Pedro Martinez signed and inscribed jersey from 1999 - his second Cy Young season in just three years - and given to Bret Saberhagen who had won his second Cy Young Award 10 years earlier. This is a Size 46 Russell Athletic-tagged jersey with an additional "1999" tag attached. The game-worn home jersey is a snowy white Red Sox shirt that shows good game use but still largely appears in as-issued and problem-free condition with little or no fraying around the delicate stitching of the "Red Sox" lettering on the front his No. 45 on the back or the "Boston All-Star Game 1999" logo patch on the left sleeve. A Pedro Martinez autograph appears in bold black Sharpie on the back above his number and includes his "Cy-97-99" inscription as well as "To My Old Man With all my respect and admiration." Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Bret Saberhagen.
