One in a series of Michael Jordan Star Company card presentations, here we have the 1985 "Last 11 Rookie of the Year's" card #1.
Years before the 1986 Fleer Jordan card hit the market, Star Company was quietly filling the basketball card void for dedicated collectors, and a variety of Michael Jordan cards were part of their standard and supplemental offerings.
While this card has the Chicago Bulls logo, it shows Michael in his 1984 USA Olympic uniform, where he led the Bob Knight-coached team to the gold medal. MJ's college statistics are on the back.
This card is autographed by Michael in bold purple Sharpie and has Beckett authentication. How often do you see this card at all, not to mention a signed version?
Very pleasing to the eye and will make some Jordan collector very happy!
