The 1968-69 season was a record-breaking one for Bobby Hull as he bettered his own mark of 54 goals by four finishing with 58 goals and 107 points. Esposito Hull and Howe became the first to break the 100-point plateau. Bobby's first of three hat tricks came Thursday November 14th in Pittsburgh as his three second period goals helped lift the Hawks over the Penguins 6-4. This is the puck Hull beat Les Binkley with at 16:39 for his 22nd career hat trick. Assists went to Bobby Schmautz and Ken Wharram. The Converse Penguins game puck was later gilt-coated and had an engraved metal plaque with details added.
The wonderful keepsake will come with a letter of authenticity signed by Bobby Hull.
