Classic 8" x 10" photograph of the New York Giants legendary player/manager Bill Terry, whose No. 3 is retired by the club that now resides in San Francisco. Terry's playing career (1923-36) included a .400 season in 1930 and he took on managerial duties (1932-41) while still writing his name in the lineup for five years. The black and white glossy photograph appears to be an original, or at least a 2nd to 4th generation professional reproduction. While the date is not provided, it looks to be from the early part of Terry's career before he became a skipper. Terry's beautiful calligraphic autograph "W.H. Bill Terry" comes in 9/10 black fountain pen.
