In 1985 the New York Yankees established its Heroes in Pinstripes Fantasy Baseball Camp for fans who wished to brush shoulders and play alongside some of the greatest Yankee players in history. For his efforts in accommodating fans as well as fellow legends former Yankees first baseman was awarded this beautifully designed 14K Gold ring which features a combination of small diamonds in the shape of a baseball sitting atop a blue stone surrounded by the words HEROES IN PINSTRIPES. On one side it pays tribute to deceased teammate Hank Bauer who passed away in 2007 with the words Hank Bauer A GREAT TEAMMATE while the other side includes Moose Skowron with the words Heroes in Pinstripes Fantasy Camp and EST. 1985. Inside is engraved Moose Skowron and is stamped "BALFOUR 14K". The ring (size 10½) is in excellent condition and shows very little wear.
Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Skowron Family.
