It didn't take Skowron long to get used to his new team as just 4 days after being released to the White Sox by the Washington Senators Bill belted his first home run for Chicago playing at home in Comiskey Park. On the OAL(Cronin) baseball Skowron has printed "1st Home Run in White Sox Park July 17 1964 Wes Stock Balt." This would be 183rd home run of his career.
