Rare Bill McGowan single-signed ONL (Frick) baseball signed on the panel to the left of the sweet spot in outstanding 8/10 looking vintage blue ink. Clean slightly off-white baseball. McGowan worked in the American League as an umpire from 1925 through his death in 1954. He founded the second ever umpire school in the United State and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992. Very difficult to find a single-signed baseball from this legendary Hall of Fame umpire. SMR value $4000.
