In association with his agency Rep 1 Sports Ben Roethlisberger is offering his game-worn and dual-signed turf shoes from the Pittsburgh Steelers’ December 14 2014 road game at Atlanta. Big Ben threw for 360 yards in a 27-10 win over the Falcons. He led the NFL in passing yards in 2014 with 4952 passing yards and threw 32 TD passes (both career highs) as the Steelers finished 11-5 and won the AFC North Division. Thanks to Big Ben's propensity to give back a portion of the proceeds will go directly towards The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation (http://bigben7.com/the-ben-roethlisberger-foundation) which supports K-9 units and service dogs of police and fire departments throughout the U.S.
The yellow and white Nike 'Lunar Superbad Pro' turf shoes come in size 14 and exhibit excellent wear inside and out. Ben has autographed the outer toes of each in bold 8-9/10 black marker with his uniform number inscribed. The interior tagging reads “SEASON SU14” and “PROMO SAMPLE 20140718” confirming that these cleats were player-issued only. Original yellow laces are present. Insoles have been removed. “ATL” is penned in black marker on the interior heel (likely done by team equipment manager). Plenty of photo-matches available online. What a thrill to be able to present these to the collecting community.
