Classic 8"x10" photograph shows portrait profile image of Babe Ruth. Ruth has added a large inscription "To My Little Girl Friend Joan From Babe Ruth" in black fountain pen that contrasts dramatically against the stark white background area of the photo. The inscription rates 9 out of 10. The photo itself has some small areas of surface paper loss only affecting a small portion of the letter "T" in the word "To" in the inscription. Additionally the photo shows a few very small spots of discoloration not drastically altering the dynamic overall visual quality of the piece. Includes a full LOA from JSA.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
