Here are two game-worn Baltimore Orioles road jerseys: a likely one-of-a-kind shirt from catcher Willie Royster in 1981 and the second from Orioles third base coach Mike Ferraro in 1993. The Ferraro shirt is a gray knit button-down garment with “Orioles” across the chest in black-on-orange tackle twill the famed script “Orioles” above in the same fashion and Ferraro’s No. 43 front and back also in black-on-orange tackle twill. “Ferraro” appears on the back on a gray nameplate above his number and the Orioles’ 1993 All-Star Game embroidered patch is found on the left sleeve. An embroidered Russell logo patch is on the right sleeve and the Russell Athletic Size 44 labeling appears on the front left tail along with a “93-2” adjacent tag and attached flag tag with washing instructions. The shirt shows light wear and is problem-free and without visible alteration.

The second shirt shows light usage as might befit a player whose career consisted of four at-bats over four games a development that sharply adds to the rarity of the garment. Royster’s gray knit button-down jersey has the Rawlings red tagging on the inside right tail with adjacent flag tag with “Set 1 1981.” “Orioles” scripted lettering – without the flourish of the paraph that would later appear beneath the mascot name – appears on the chest along with his No. 59 front and back and “Royster” on a gray nameplate all in orange-on-black tackle twill. Collar has black and orange knit edging and sleeves trim with black white and orange. Jersey is problem-free and without visible alteration of any description.
