Genuinely fascinating 34-inch brown Louisville Slugger 40 B.R. Store Model Babe Ruth bat that presents in remarkably pristine condition betrayed only by turning the barrel somewhat to reveal an 8-inch in length and approximately 1 1/2 inches at its center in width missing slice off the top of the barrel. The section has been repainted a darker brown; the rest of the bat is essentially as-issued and problem free save only for a curious "Z" carved into the knob presumably not the handiwork of one Don Diego de la Vega.
