Fall of 1943 crystal clear original Type I black & white photo picturing Babe Ruth leaning on a box of 1943 World Series Highlights, to be shipped to US servicemen serving overseas during World War II, in front of a military aircraft with former teammate Johnny Murphy and military personal standing on both sides. Ruth has signed his image in 7+/10 looking green ink "To My Pal Johnny Murphy From Babe Ruth". Photo has already been matted to a size of 11 3/4" by 14 1/4" and is ready for your frame.
