Seizing the opportunity, Ruth blessed this space with one of the boldest, most flawlessly rendered autographs you could hope for. The deep blue felt tip signature contrasts brilliantly with its bright white background. Its impeccable placement contributes to a spectacular overall aesthetic presentation. Writing on the back in an unknown hand, “Camp Kilmer N.J. – Hospital Ward Visit 1946,” suggests that Ruth likely bestowed this item to an infirmed child during a hospital visit, as he was often known to do.
