Great group of 1940's team programs and ticket stubs from the New York Yankees organization that were part of an old Yankee fan's personal collection. The highlight of course is Babe Ruth's autograph on the 1945 N.Y. Yankees team program. The Babe has signed in 7/10 pencil on the front cover with a piece of plastic taped over the autograph for the sake of preservation. The '45 program is scored on the inside and comes in EX overall condition when factoring in the taping job.

The 1946 N.Y. Yankees program (EX-MT) is un-scored but does have some random pencil marks in the scorecard section. "Yanks in 9th 7-6" is marked on the front cover. The 1947 N.Y. Yankees program (NM) is completely unmarked on the covers and interior. The 1948 N.Y. Yankees program (25th Anniversary of Yankee Stadium) is also unmarked on the covers and interior and in otherwise great condition except for its ripped front cover that puts it in GD/VG category. Rounding out the programs is a rare 1945 Newark Bears of the International League (AA) issue in VG-EX shape, accompanied by two Newark ticket stubs presumably from that same season.

Mixed in with the Yankee programs are the following ticket stubs ranging VG to NM: 4/22/1944 home opener (6-3 win vs. Senators); 4/19/1946 home opener (7-6 win vs. Senators); 6/28/1946 (4-1 win vs. A's); 4/15/1947 homer opener (6-1 loss vs. A's); 5/26/1947 (9-3 win vs. Red Sox, DiMaggio 3-4 with HR & 4 RBI); and 4/28/1948 home opener (4-0 loss vs. Red Sox, Ted Williams 1st HR of season). Note: the 5/25/47 stub is not pictured but is present; we just found it inside the '47 program.

Includes a handwritten note on the personal stationary of the Yankee fan from Newark, NJ, who attended these games and acquired the programs and tickets himself.

Full LOA's from JSA and PSA/DNA (for Ruth auto.).
