Circa 1930's pencil art work drawn by the consignor's father copied from a newspaper article featuring Babe Ruth aiming his bat at a target that reads "That $100000 1930 Contract". The consignor's father was one of the winners of the contest put on by the Pittsburgh Sun-Telegram which offered a trip to the 1936 World Series for those who correctly picked the players and batting order for Babe Ruth's 1936 All-American team. He took this drawing to New York and had it signed by Babe Ruth and his wife at the 1936 World Series. Included is a photocopy of the September 20 1936 Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph announcing the winners of the contest. Ruth a strong 9/10 looking black ink signature.
