August 2 1927 Walter Johnson Twentieth Anniversary Program honoring the 416 game winner's 20 years of service in the American League. The event was held right before the scheduled Detroit Tiger - Washington Senators game held that day in Griffith Stadium. 1927 would be the final year for "The Big Train"'s Hall of Fame career. 8 1/2" by 11" program features a large picture image of Johnson pitching on the front. Photos of Johnson in 1906 and 1907 as well as a 1927 portrait image are on the 2nd page. A complete biography and statistical information including career highlights are on page 3. The back page contains a complete list of the day's ceremonies. The right edge has some creasing and staining staring about 3/8" in and tapering off to nothing about half way up. Small 1 1/2" by 3/8" tear at upper right corner on back. Awesome memento from a landmark day in Walter Johnson's legendary Hall of Fame career.
