April 1 1938 Harry S. Truman typed signed letter on United States Senate Committee of Interstate Commerce letterhead signed by the future President of the United States in perfect 9/10 looking dark blue ink. In the letter Truman is recommending someone for a position with the FDIC. Also included is the recipient's April 6th reply. Letter itself is in great condition with only a pair of punch holes at the type from when it was filed in an album. Also included is the reply to his letter from the recipient.
