On August 10 2010 with 47659 fans filling the seats Derek Jeter on first base two outs and a 2-0 count against Toronto's Shaun Marcum Alex Rodriguez launched a shot to center field to become the seventh and youngest man in Major League history to hit 600 home runs. Rodriguez joined Barry Bonds (762) Hank Aaron (755) Babe Ruth (714) Willie Mays (660) Ken Griffey Jr. (630) and Sammy Sosa (609) as the only players to hit 600 or more home runs in Major League history. Ruth is the only other Yankee to reach the milestone.
In commemoration of the historic event Arod signed and inscribed this special gold finished pro model bat and OML baseball with the notation 600 HR 8/4/10. Both items are in flawless condition and bear MLB Auth. holograms and holograms from Arods own memorabilia firm. Bat also has a Steiner hologram. Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
