ADDENDUM: HELMET HAS BEEN DEFINITIVELY PHOTO-MATCHED TO JUNE 20 2013 HOME GAME VS. SEATTLE MARINERS. IT IS NOT FROM 2012 AS STATED IN CATALOG.
Albert Pujols size 7 3/8 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim game-worn batting helmet from the 2013 season. Thick Pujols' #5 decal applied to rear of helmet. Rawlings and MLB AUTHENTIC ON FIELD EQUIPMENT tags sewn inside. Helmet displays very heavy use with numerous nicks and scrapes on the outside and sweat staining along the inside padding. The pattern of black marks most likely from pine tar on the left side of the helmet directly matches the Getty image 173145205 from the Angels' 6/20/13 home game vs. Seattle. The Angels won 10-9 as Pujols went 2-5 with 2 RBI. The consignor received this piece from an inside source who works directly with the team.
