Hall of Famer Tom Heinsohn's signed September 13 1960 Uniform Player Contract with the Boston Celtics Basketball Club Inc. has been signed in perfect 9-10/10 looking vintage blue ink by Heinsohn Boston Celtics owner/president Walter A. Brown and a witness. NBA commissioner Maurice Podoloff has also signed the contract at a later date in 8/10 blue ballpoint pen when the contract was received by the NBA offices. The one-year agreement for the 1960/1961 season calls for Heinsohn to receive a salary of $20000. 1960-61 would see Heinsohn average 21.3 points per game and almost 10 rebound per game as the Celtics would win another NBA title. Heinsohn the 1956 NBA Rookie of the year 6 time All-Star and 9 time NBA World Champion has spent his entire career associated with the Boston Celtics as player coach and announcer. Contract is in very nice condition with the usual folds and a few small edge tears. Awesome piece of history from a Boston Celtic Hall of Fame legend!
