Ichiro ranks 24th on the MLB all-time hits list, with 3,089 career knocks to his credit. He will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on July 27, and ranks just ahead of Hall of Famers Rickey Henderson, Rod Carew, and Wade Boggs on the all-time hits list. 

 

On August 29, 2016, Ichiro was with the Miami Marlins in a game against the New York Mets. In the top of the eighth inning, he came up to bat against pitcher Addison Reed. His double off Reed gave him his 3,011th career hit, passing Boggs on the all-time hits list. Presented is the ball hit by Suzuki for that milestone. The ball is affixed with a hologram from MLB Authentication (JB416567).
