After lighting the baseball world on fire with his AL-record setting 62 home runs in 2022, Aaron Judge was smacking the ball out of the park at a historic rate once again in 2024. For much of the season, Judge was on pace to break his own single-season HR mark. He settled for 58 bombs to go along with 144 RBI and 133 walks, leading all of baseball in these categories and securing his second AL MVP in three seasons.
On August 23, 2024, Judge came to the plate wearing this offered jersey in the bottom of the sixth inning and the Yankees up 2-0 on the Colorado Rockies. Judge blasted the third pitch he saw from Kyle Freeland 388 feet into the left field bleachers at Yankee Stadium for his 49th homer of the season. It marked his fourth straight game with a long ball.
This classic Yankees home pinstriped Aaron Judge #99 home run jersey has the navy blue intertwined “NY on the left chest and the Nike logo on the right. The left sleeve has a Starr Insurance (team sponsor) logo patch. The left front tail has a Nike label along with authenticity holograms from MLB, Fanatics and the Yankees. Inside the left shirttail are the Nike size 48 and + 2" body flag tags and laundry instructions. The back has Judge's No. "99" in navy blue upon which the Yankees star has signed his name and inscribed, "2024 AL MVP" with "1-4, HR, RBI, R," and "VS. Rockies 8/23/24" in perfect 10/10 silver marker. This is the only Judge gamer inscribed "2024 AL MVP" to be offered at this juncture. The unwashed jersey displays solid wear with some light soiling on the lower back and left shoulder/sleeve.
The game use is certified by MLB Authenticated (YP346814). The autograph and inscriptions are certified by Fanatics (RG13322433). The jersey has been conclusively photo-matched by Davious Sports (paperwork to be uploaded shortly).
