Awesome August 15 1984 Get Well card sent to Hall of Fame pitcher by the National Baseball Hall of Fame signed by 28 Hall of Famer and 29 other prominent baseball figures. There are also 9 additional signatures Hoyt's son could not identify. Hoyt had planned to be at the 1984 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies but suffered a heart attack the day before he was scheduled to travel. Hall of Fame Director of Public Relations Bill Guifoile obtained the signatures at the ceremonies and then sent it on to Hoyt. Hoyt received the card right before his death on August 25.
