One of baseball’s greatest short stops of all-time, “The Iron Man” Cal Ripken Jr played in a record 2,632 consecutive games. The record that many thought would never be broken, was previously held by the great Lou Gehrig. Offered here is a most important Cal Ripken Jr game used and signed Official American League (Brown) baseball attributed to his 2,000 consecutive game. Ripken has signed and inscribed the sweet spot with “Cal Ripken Jr - Consecutive Game #2,000” in flawless blue sharpie with a 9/10 for strength and eye appeal. The baseball exhibits signs of game use and has dirt stains throughout. Ball itself is in EX-MT/NM condition overall.
