July 22 1943 Assignment of a Player's Contract between the Brooklyn Dodgers and their Montreal Royals farm team sending outfielder Luis Olmo from Montreal to Brooklyn signed by Dodger Hall of Fame Club President Branch Rickey. Rickey has signed in perfect 10/10 vintage blue steel tip pen ink. Olmo would spend the war years with Brooklyn and put together 3 good seasons before being sent back down to the minors. Document itself in great condition with the usual 2 folds and 2 small 5/16 by 3/316 pieces of brown tape at the right hand edge.
