Arguably the biggest star on the Braves roster is heavy hitting first baseman Freddie Freeman. This bat was used by Freeman in 2014 when the then 24-year old slugger was named to the NL All-Star squad for the second straight year. The Marucci CB15M bat shows excellent use with a handle crack. Numerous ball marks and stitch impressions are visible along with cleat imprints and the impression from a weighted batting donut. A hefty coat of Mota Stick is present on the lower handle. The date of manufacture 04/22/14 Freemans number 5 length 4 and weight 2.0 are stamped into the knob end. An MLB Authentication hologram on the barrel (EK696650) pinpoints usage to a May 22 2014 game in Atlanta vs. Milwaukee. Freeman cracked the bat in the first inning by fouling off a pitch from Matt Garza.
