He laced these up April 9 at the United Center as the Cavs fell to the host Chicago Bulls 105-102. LeBron led all scorers with 33 points to go along with seven rebounds and three assists. James averages 25.3 points 7.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists during the regular season as Cleveland finished with the Eastern Conference’s best record. They marched through the playoffs relatively easily until their epic rematch with Golden State in the NBA Finals. We all know how that ended. LeBron’s incredible performances in three straight elimination games brought euphoria to the state of Ohio and put him in the discussion as the greatest player ever. Best of all for King James he finally got one for “The Land.”

The 13^th edition of his signature models from Nike these navy LeBron XIII shoes have Cavs gold Swooshes on the toes and inner ankles with gold upper tongues and outer heels for an interesting look. They have high ankle support and hard outer exterior panels for a unique design. LeBron’s facsimile signature appears on the tongues and his silhouette dunk image is stamped on the heels with the crown logo on the heel tabs. Nike added two inspirational small rubber panels marked “THE” (right shoe) and “LAND” (left shoe) on the lower tongues. Each shoe is dated "4/9" in black Sharpie on the lower back heel (likely by the team equip. manager) to denote the game he wore them. Original navy laces are present but the insoles have been removed as LeBron likely used his own customized orthotic inserts in these. The size 16 shoes are appropriately tagged on the interior with "SEASON H015"and "PROMO SAMPLE" indicating they were player-issued and not available to the public.

LeBron has signed the toes of each shoe in gold marker with his autograph and a crown drawn above it on the right and “King James” on the left. They exhibit appropriate game use with light scuffing on the exterior and heel drag on the outsoles.
