Spaniard Fernando Alonso is one of the most accomplished F1 drivers in history. In 2005 he became the youngest to win the Formula One World Drivers’ Championship at just 24 years old, ending a run of five straight titles by Michael Schumacher. Alonso then went back-to-back the following season with his Renault team. Twenty years later, he is still competing in Formula One for Aston Martin. To date, his has won 32 Grand Prix races in 22 seasons. In addition, he competes in endurance racing and is the only F1 champion to have also won a World Endurance title.

Presented here is a Fernando Alonso Aston Martin fire suit worn at the Japanese Grand Prix on April 7, 2024 in Suzuka, Japan. The winner that day was Max Verstappen of Red Bull. Alonso led his Aston Martin Aramco-Mercedes team and finished fifth overall. The thick green suit, with team sponsors stamped in white on the chest, shoulders and back, exhibits obvious wear with heavily frayed threads on the interior. OMP (Italy) manufacturer’s tagging is labeled inside the zipper inseam. It appears to have been laundered post-use. There are plenty of images available online of Alonso wearing this suit at the event. It comes with certification from F1 Authentics, the official memorabilia company of Formula One.
