4/24/2022 Shohei Ohtani (LAA vs. BAL) Game Used Single Baseball – MLB Auth. VS691074 This ball was used for both Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout’s at-bats during the April 24, 2022, game against Baltimore. Michael Baumann was on the mound in the bottom of the 7th. First up was Ohtani, who took two pitches for a 2-0 count. Bauman’s third offering was right in Ohtani’s sweet spot, and he smacked it into right field for a single. The ball was returned to Baumann, who then served up a slider in the dirt to Mike Trout. The ball was then taken out of play and replaced with a fresh one. The Rawlings Official MLB ball features the special Angels 2002 World Championship 20th-anniversary logo used for home games at the Big A that season. The ball shows moderate game use with scuffs and turf marks throughout. A great gamer that saw action with two of the game’s biggest stars. An MLB Auth. hologram (VS691074) is affixed to the ball.
