Opening Day of Judge's official MLB rookie season in 2017 pitted for the Yankees against their AL East counterparts from Tampa Bay at Tropicana Field. Judge recorded a hit and RBI in four plate appearances during his rookie season debut. Judge would go on to record one of the most accomplished rookie seasons in baseball history, finishing the 2017 campaign with a league-leading 52 homers, 114 RBI, and .284 batting average. Judge also led the AL in runs (128) and walks (127). With these monster numbers, Judge was awarded 2017 AL Rookie of the Year honors. Judge also received runner-up recognition in the American League MVP voting. The Yankees advanced to the 2017 ALCS where they would fall to the eventual World Series Champion Houston Astros.

Contact marks are present on each shoulder, while some puckering has occurred on the front “NEW YORK” lettering. Judge's now iconic No. “99” is featured on the reverse of this Yankees road gamer in a classic style that is now a piece of MLB history. The jock tag features MLB Authentication (#JC156015) and Steiner Sports holograms certifying the shirt's game use on 4/2/2017. Includes separate full LOA from Steiner as well.
