The recently retired Derek Jeter had a fabulous career in pinstripes. After 20 awe-inspiring major league seasons with the New York Yankees he finally decided to hang hung up his spikes last year with the following career numbers to his credit: 3465 hits 1311 runs batted in 544 double 260 home runs and a lifetime batting average of .310. The former Yankees team captain should be a shoo-in to Cooperstown in six years. This lot featured an unusual item of Jeters that he used frequently in front of his own locker at Yankee Stadium. His game-used clubhouse chair the leather piece of furniture measures 24 wide by 45 tall and includes both his uniform number 2 and Yankee NY logo specially embroidered in white across the front of the chair. A comfortable adjustable chair with a roller base sporting five wheels it will no doubt make for a great conversation piece with the friends and family.
