Kobe Bryant wore quite a few variations of basketball shoes in his remarkable career with the Los Angeles Lakers. The final shoe Kobe wore from adidas was The Kobe 2, which he played in during the 2001-02 season. These unique kicks have a sleek, space age look.
Through extensive research and photo matching (see the various Resolution Photomatching LOA documents), Kobe wore this pair of Kobe 2's March 29, 2002. A victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, Bryant led the way scoring 34 points, grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 6 assists.
This pair of sneakers is dual-signed, boldly and largely, in black Sharpie on the outer panel of each shoe. Beckett has authenticated the signatures.
The combination of the gold, black and white shoes, with the striking Kobe signature on each shoe, gives this tremendous eye appeal. You walk into a room and see these and it will stop you in your tracks. Wow!
