Very nice selection of official Rawlings baseball signed by members of the 3000 hit club. Most of the players are in the HOF and includes: Hank Aaron Stan Musial Al Kaline George Brett Willie Mays Lou Brock Rod Carew Dave Winfield and Tony Gwynn. All of the balls have been signed in blue ink on the sweet spot (with the exception of Gwynn). All of the autographs are in good condition and would rate an average of 7-8/10. Most of the balls have some yellowing but overall present very well. Included in this lot is a black commemorative Louisville Slugger bat. The facsimile signature of members of the 3000 hit club have been engraved in gold lettering with the number of hits recognized by the Hall of Fame. The players listed on the barrel of the bat include: Ty Cobb-4191 Hank Aaron-3771 Stan Musial-3630 Tris Speaker-3515 Honus Wagner-3430 Carl Yastrzemski-3419 Eddie Collins-3311 Willie Mays-3283 Nap Lajoie-3251 Paul Waner-3152 Cap Anson-3081 Rod Carew-3053 Lou Brock-3023 Al Kaline-3007 and Roberto Clemente-3000. Also engrave on the barrel of the bat is the Hall of Flame logo in gold and "3000 hits" "184 of 1000" both in green.
