Offered here is a match-worn pair of Adidas Predator Elite cleats worn by Gianluigi Donnarumma, widely regarded as the best goalkeeper in the world today, during the 2024/25 season. Still just 27 years old and entering his prime for Italy and PSG, Donnarumma continues to climb up the ranks of the top Italian keepers ever to do it, following the likes of Dino Zoff and Gianluigi Buffon.
The cleats are constructed in Adidas' top-of-the-line Predator Elite model featuring the HybridTouch 2.0 upper in a sand/taupe base with iridescent silver-purple Adidas three-stripe detailing along the lateral sides and a vivid coral/orange heel counter, tongue, and sole plate.
The tongue of each boot bears Donnarumma's personal identifier "GIGIO99" in black text, with the Italian national flag embroidered on the lateral quarter panel — a detail specific to Donnarumma's custom boots signifying his dual club and international service. The cleats are fitted with screw-in metal studs on an orange outsole. Both boots display clear match use throughout, including surface scuffing and soiling consistent with hard pitch play.
According to our consignor, these were believed to have been worn in two matches: October 1, 2024 vs. Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League and November 14, 2024 vs. Belgium in a Nations League international match. Accompanied by MEARS LOA.
