21-year-old Bobby Witt Jr., a shortstop in the Kansas City Royals organization, is currently the third-ranked prospect in all of baseball. Son of 2001 World Series champion Bobby Witt Sr., Witt Jr. has rapidly risen through the minor-league ranks since being drafted by the Royals second overall in the 2019 MLB Draft. In 62 games with the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers, Witt Jr. slashed .285/.352/.581 with 17 home runs, 46 RBIs, and 15 stolen bases. He was awarded both the USA Today Minor League Player of the Year Award and the Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year Award.
