Even before he became the consensus number one overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Ben Simmons was one of the most hyped players in the basketball world. The expectations for Simmons were massive as he entered the league. 2017-18 was his true rookie season after he missed the entire 2016-17 season due to injury, and he won rookie of the year handily. Since then, Simmons has made three consecutive NBA All-Star Game appearances, an All-NBA Third Team in 2020, and two NBA All-Defensive Teams in 2020 and 2021. This game-used jersey has been photo-matched to a trio of Philadelphia 76ers games Simmons starred in during the 2018-19 season. In the first game, Philly topped Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder 108-104 on the road. Simmons tallied a triple-double in that game with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists. In the next matchup against the Chicago Bulls on March 6, The Sixers suffered a narrow defeated 107-108. Simmons did all he could to propel his squad to victory with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists. In the final game he wore this jersey in, Philadelphia was bested by James Harden, Chris Paul, and the rest of the Houston Rockets 91-107. Despite the loss, Ben nearly had another triple-double with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Simmons' white mesh jersey has "PHILA" stitched above his number “25” in its center in red and blue. The sides are striped with red, white, and blue, as are the collar and arm openings. The left front tail has the Nike size 46 label with a “Length +4” hang tag attached. An NBA serial number label is affixed beside it. The back has a small gold number "3" to denote the number of championships the 76ers have won above the NBA logo. Below, "SIMMONS" and his number "25" in blue and red mesh. The jersey shows appropriate game use with overall toning to the white mesh and some light staining throughout. The jersey is accompanied by the Resolution Photomatching Letter of Photomatch, as well as a 76ers/Fanatics COA.
