As a one-and-done diaper dandy at the University of Oklahoma Trae Young personified the new wave of offensive-minded point guards inspired by Steph Curry that shoot with no-conscience and are always looking to push the pace. As a freshman the Sooners' 6’ 2” floor general became the first player in NCAA history to lead the nation in both points and assists (total and per game). Now the Atlanta Hawks rookie extraordinaire has his sights set on NBA’s Rookie of the Year and he’s off to a torrid start averaging almost 17 points and 8.3 assists per game in his 2018-19 debut season. With unlimited range and a fitting first name the sky's the limit for this young cat.
Presented here is a Trae’s 2018 NBA Summer League jersey – his first game worn jersey as an Atlanta Hawk. Young played in seven games during the tournament and gave fans a taste of what his exciting future may hold. The black Nike jersey with red and fluorescent yellow piping down the sides has “HAWKS” and his No. “11” across the front in white with the team’s Sharecare jersey sponsor patch sewn on. His number and NOB “YOUNG” are also done in white on the reverse with the NBA logo screen-printed at the top. The shirt shows light but appropriate wear and looks to be properly tagged on the left front tail in size M with “+2 LENGTH” flag tag. This is the very first professional jersey ever worn by Trae Young who could become a global superstar.
