This 2017 Topps Archives 1960 Rookie Star #RS-9 Aaron Judge rookie card has been graded PSA Gem Mint 10. The Archives 1960 Rookie Star insert revives the classic circular-photo design of the original 1960 Topps Rookie Star subset, applying it to Judge during his record-setting American League Rookie of the Year and Home Run Derby champion season. A Gem Mint 10 grade requires perfect centering, four pristine corners, full original gloss, and entirely clean surfaces, a standard well within reach for modern Topps Archives card stock but still demanding given the card's white borders, which readily reveal any handling wear or edge chipping. As one of Judge's most popular retro-styled rookie-era cards from his historic 2017 debut season, a Gem Mint 10 example represents the finest possible condition tier for this widely collected insert card.
