The dynamic French striker tallied a hat trick on the biggest stage, displaying a level of electrifying talent, pinpoint execution and awe-inspiring resilience – albeit in a losing effort – that will never be forgotten. His eight goals during the tournament earned him the Golden Boot and tied him with Pelé for sixth on the all-time World Cup scoring list with 12 goals. And that was just his second World Cup!
Now entering his prime at age 25, Mbappé is ready to begin the next chapter in his club career. After starring for AS Monaco as a teenager and then Paris Saint-Germain for the past six years in France’s Ligue 1, he recently signed a five-year deal with Real Madrid just days after they won the 2024 UEFA Champions League title. The yellow shirt (size L) has Nike Aeroswift tagging within the neck and a 2017 Nike Authentic label (code J8M391193) on the left front tail. A large black Nike logo appears on the right chest, with the circular PSG crest on the left chest. The sponsor logo of Fly Emirates is centered on the front, with additional sponsor QNB on the left sleeve. The right sleeve has the Ligue 1 patch. Given No. 29 to start his PSG tenure, his number appears on the reverse in navy blue with yellow spots. His name appears straight across the upper back in navy. According to Sports Investors Authentication, the shirt exhibits no visual evidence of wear. Our consignor acquired the shirt through an active kitman who trades often with peers.
