Though he did not repeat as the American League's MVP in 2015 Mike Trout still enjoyed a bountiful season at the plate as well in the field and finished second in the MVP balloting race. The Angels center fielder batted .299 that season with 172 hits including 41 home runs and 90 runs batted in. This lot features a pair of Trout's game-worn dual-signed and inscribed Nike "TROUT" model batting gloves from the 2015 MLB campaign.
The triple-color (red white and silver) gloves show incredible wear with dirt remnants throughout the fingers and palm areas. The personal model gloves include Trout's uniform number "27" in white on red on the inside wrist areas of either glove as well as his name "TROUT" in capital silver letters on the Velcro strip used to tighten the gloves. Trout has signed both gloves on the knuckle area in black marker and added "27" "15" and "G/U" underneath his signature to indicate his uniform number the season in which they were worn and the fact that the gloves are indeed game-used.
LOA from notable Trout memorabilia dealer Anderson Authentics with COA holograms (2062 & 2063) for both gloves. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
