Standing 6' 5" and weighing almost 300 pounds Kenley Jansen is quite intimidating on the mound. Yet the Los Angeles Dodgers' longtime closer is more than just a hard-thrower. Like baseball's greatest closer of all-time Mariano Rivera Jansen has mastered one pitch the cutter. And when he's got it working there is nothing a batter can do to make solid contact even when they know it's coming.
In 2015 the gentle giants from Curacao helped the Blue Crew advance to the NLDS by leading the team in saves with 36 while striking out 80 batters in 52 innings pitched. He donned this white L.A. Dodgers home jersey during the team’s NLDS battle against the New York Mets saving both of his team's wins in the five-game series. This MLB Authentic "Majestic size 48" jersey reads "Dodgers" on the front in single-color royal blue tackle twill and his jersey number “74” stands out in single-color red. "JANSEN” and “74" is formed on the back in royal blue tackle twill. An oversized “2015 POSTSEASON MLB” patch adorns the right sleeve while the Dodgers interlocking “LA” logo graces the left sleeve. A rubberized Majestic tag on the left front tail includes a size reference. Just below that rests a MLB inventory bar code that reads “74 JANSEN 48 2015.” A COOL BASE flag tag resides in the jersey’s left inseam. The shirt displays light to moderate wear.
