Featured here is Stephen Curry’s game-worn and autographed home jersey from his record-breaking 2015-16 season. Coming off his 2014-15 Most Valuable Player campaign in which he helped the Golden State Warriors take home their first NBA title in 40 years Curry picked up right where he left off and guided the Warriors to 24 consecutive victories to start the season en route to the best regular-season record in NBA history at 73-9. The “Baby Faced Assassin” won his second straight league MVP award becoming the first to ever do so unanimously as he led the NBA in scoring at 30.1 ppg and also finished first with a 2.1 steals average. He added 6.7 assists and a career-high 5.4 rebounds per contest. For the fourth straight season the more famous of the “Splash Brothers” set a new NBA record for 3-pointers made this time shattering his old mark of 286 with an astounding 402 from beyond the arc. Perhaps most impressive was his efficiency. He shot 50% from the field 45% from three and 91% from the line to join the elite 50-40-90 club. While last season did not end the way he probably envisioned you can be sure that Steph and his revamped Warriors roster now featuring Kevin Durant will be ready for their 2017 Finals rematch with LeBron and the Cavs.
The white mesh jersey sports a large blue Golden State Warriors team crest that is chain-stitched to the front with Steph’s No. “30” appearing at center next to the Bay Bridge silhouetted in gold. An arched "THOMPSON" is sewn directly onto the shirt across the upper back with a large No. “30” below both coming in blue tackle twill. Above the player name is the official NBA embroidered logo patch. The neck has blue and gold trim; the arms have just blue trim. On the front left tail is the proper “Adidas climacool size L” manufacturer's tagging and a “LENGTH +2” flag tag. Adjacent is the official NBA authentication code "GWA03938." The left inseam has a size “L2” materials tag with washing instructions and another Adidas tag that reads "05/15 S22683 AZB012." On the inside of the rear collar is a size "L2" tag positioned just below a sewn-in gold-colored tag with "4X" and a Larry O'Brien trophy rendition to denote the Warrior franchise’s four total championships. Curry has signed the back between the zero in 7-8/10 black marker. According to the consignor the jersey was sourced through a team employee who wishes to remain anonymous.
