Kobe Bryant is one of the most iconic players to ever play in the NBA. The 5x Champion of the Los Angeles Lakers played 20 straight seasons with the same team, only Dirk Nowitzki of the Mavericks had a longer tenure with one team. Kobe averaged 25 PPG, 4.7 APG, and 5.2 RPG for his career, making him one of the most elite scorers the sports world has ever seen (3rd all-time NBA scoring). The 18x All-Star decided to hang them up after the 2015-16 season after an illustrious career and titles in 2 different decades. Offered here is an amazing purple and gold Adidas warm-up jacket from his final season. The warm-up jacket features three patches that run down the left sleeve. The first one is a basketball that reads “EST. 1948†denoting when the team was formed in Minneapolis. Next, a “Conference Champs†patch with the number “31†to show how many the Lakers have won. Finally, the last patch is shaped like the Larry O’Brien Trophy and reads “NBA CHAMPION x16†for how many times the Lakers have ended a season as World Champions. The front and back of the jacket have “Adidas†patches as they were the NBA jersey sponsor during the 2015-16 season. The inside tagging shows “6/15†denoting when the garment was produced, before the start of the 2015-16 season. A large NBA patch is highlighted on the bottom right. The Los Angeles Lakers logo is sewn in on the left chest. The back is sewn in with a larger “LAKERS†that fills the entire upper back. The “Player ID†tagging on the inside of the jacket in inscribed with “24â€Â, presumably by the team’s equipment manager. The 2XL +2 length button-up jacket is in near mint condition, showing no fraying on any patches or logos. Overall, this is an excellent piece of game-used memorabilia from Kobe Bryant’s last NBA season.
