Shane Victorino will forever be etched in Boston Red Sox lore by virtue of his grand slam in Game 6 of the 2013 American League Championship Series. The memorable blast propelled the Bosox into the World Series. This lot features Victorino's game-worn Boston Red Sox alternate jersey that he used during the 2014 season a campaign in which he played in just 30 games before undergoing season-ending back surgery in early August. According to the MLB database this particular jersey was worn by Victorino during Boston's 7-1 victory over Oakland on May 2 at Fenway Park. In the game Victorino went 1-for-4. The Boston Red Sox Authentic Collection Majestic red alternate jersey (size 48) includes proper tagging on the left front tail with "RED SOX" reading aross the front in navy blue tackle twill outlined in white. Victorino's uniform number "18" appears on the back in similar fashion. The jersey is complete with the official MLB embroidered logo appearing on the outside rear collar.
