Reigning American League MVP and World renouned super star Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim is surely going to have another amazing season during the shortened 2020 season. Angels and Trout fans hope he's on the verge of being a back-to-back league MVP.

In 2014, Trout had a phenomenal campaign as he batted .287 with 36 home runs and led the league in both RBI (111) and runs scored (115). Featured in this lot is a rare pair of dual-signed and game-worn Nike Lunar FlyWire cleats that Trout wore during the ’14 season. The size 11 four-color cleats (black, white, gray and red) are beautifully designed with each shoe boasting red Nike Swooshes on both sides. Specially marked with a “Mike Trout 27” logo positioned inside on either heel bed, the cleats show solid game use with the original red laces still intact. His last name – “TROUT” – is printed in capital red letters on the outside of either shoe, with his uniform number “27” imprinted on the other side. All nine original metal cleats are still positioned perfectly on both shoes and the manufacturer has included a special white pull tag on either tongue that reads: “NIKEBSBL.” Trout has autographed and inscribed both shoes on the white portion of the toe area in fine-point black marker: “14 G/U.” A great piece of game-worn baseball equipment used and signed by – whom many are calling –The second coming of Mickey Mantle. The cleats are style-matched via Getty to Game 1 of the ALDS vs. the Kansas City Royals on October 2, 2014. They could very well be from that home playoff game!
