Phenomenal Los Angeles Angels center-fielder Mike Trout burst upon the MLB scene in 2011 with a combination of power and speed few have ever seen. He won the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year and finished 2nd in AL MVP voting. In 2013 he again finished runner-up for MVP and earned his 2nd straight Silver Slugger leading the league in runs (109) and walks (110). It was only a matter of time before he was named Most Valuable Player and that came in his third full season in 2014 when he blasted 36 home runs and drove in 111 runs. Featured here are Trout's game-worn Nike signature model turf shoes from his 2014 MVP season each one signed and inscribed "14 G/U" on the toes in 8-9/10 black marker. The black/red/white Nike 'Air Max MVP Elite' shoes with red laces come in size 11.5 and have "TROUT" stamped in red on each heel. "PROMO SAMPLE" on the interior tagging signifies they are player-issued and not for public consumption. "SEASON SU13" on the interior Nike tagging means they were made in 2013 but they are clearly 2014 game-worn based on Trout's inscription and the dozens of style matches available on Getty images. Both shoes display solid game use inside and out. Pieces of turf are stuck to the bottoms. Great pair of game-worn shoes from a season Mike Trout will always remember.
Hologram stickers (#1414 & 1415) from Anderson Authentics (Trout memorabilia dealer) are affixed to each shoe. Autograph and inscription pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
