Presented here is the complete Washington Wizards home uniform set worn by future Hall of Famer Paul Pierce during the 2014-15 season his only year playing in our nation’s capital. “The Truth” averaged 11.9 point per game over 73 starts that season. The white jersey features the Wizards logo across the front with Pierce’s number “34” below in silver and red. The neck and arms are trimmed in black and white. The back has “PIERCE” above his number “34” in red and silver. The lower left front tail has an Adidas 3XL label with a “LENGTH +4” hang tag. Adjacent to this is a serial numbered NBA label. The inside the left tail is the “05/14” manufacturer’s date tag. The white shorts are adorned with red and black stripes and star motif along with a DC logo. The waistband has an Adidas 2XL label with a “LENGTH +2” flag tag and a “05/14” dated manufacturer’s flag tag. Pierce’s number “34” is penned in faded black (presumably by the team’s equipment manager) on the Player ID label.

The white shooting shirt has red stripes on the shoulders the Adidas logo on the right chest and the DC logo on the left. The neck has a red zipper enclosure and the back features a red white and navy basketball logo patch. The left front tail has an Adidas 3XL label with Pierce’s number “34” handwritten in black marker (presumably by the team’s equipment manager) and a “LENGTH +2” hang tag. A rarely seen complete uniform and shooting shirt set that shows excellent use by a former NBA Champion and perennial All-Star whose name will be called in Springfield MA in the near future.
