Five years ago "Linsanity" took the sports world be storm when a little known Chinese-American guard out of Harvard became an instant celebrity in the U.S. and overseas. Jeremy Lin got his chance to shine with the New York Knicks and took full advantage going a three-week scoring spree that helped them win seven straight games and made him a household name. He has maintained that prestige in China even as his career has calmed to a steady 11.7 points and 4.4 assists over six seasons. In 2014-15 with the L.A. Lakers Lin started 30 of the 74 games he played and put up numbers comparable to his career averages. He sported these Adidas signature model sneakers during his one season in purple and gold. The size 11.5 low-tops come in purple with fluorescent yellow interiors and outsoles. "JLIN17" is stamped on the tongues. They are appropriately tagged inside with the manufacturing date of "08/14" and show proper game use with heel drag and light scuffing. Lin has signed the outer toes of each in 9/10 silver marker with his No. "17" inscribed.
