Christian Yelich was drafted right out of high school by the Miami Marlins in the 1st round (23rd overall) of the 2010 MLB Draft. The Milwaukee Brewers acquired Yelich from the Marlins after the 2017 season and in 2018 he became the fourth player in Brewers history to win the league's Most Valuable Player award. He is certainly on the short list for "best player in baseball" these days. Offered here is Yelich's 2013 game-used bat from the season be made his big-league debut with the Marlins.

The Louisville Slugger Christian Yelich professional model S318 bat exhibits evidence of outstanding use with handle crack that has been secured. Numerous ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the left right and back barrel. The the lower handle has two tape rings and there is a moderate coat of pine tar on the lower handle. The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since January 2009. The date of manufacture (12/21/12) the letter "A" and the length and weight (34.0/31.0) are stamped into the knob. Yelich's player number "76" (worn during Spring Training in 2013) is written on the knob and top of the barrel in silver. Includes LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA with a GU 9 grade.
